A story of Warringtons
After proposing to Tracy in an HT Monaro, Scott had to kiss goodbye to his other loves, his classic Holden cars, to buy their first home. Tracy promised she would make up for this sacrifice, and true to her word, between them they now have thirteen Holden vehicles.
"We love restoring Holdens back to their former glory, getting them as close to the original as we can. We spend hours trawling Holden forums and Trademe looking for the right parts. The wait is always worth it. Patience helps us build award winning cars" says Scott.
The third generation Holden RA Rodeo was launched in 2003. The Rodeo nameplate ran until 2008 when it was rebadged Colorado.
Holden VE Commodore
VE heralded in a new generation of Holden Commodore. It was the first Commodore to be developed exclusively locally - as opposed to all previous models which used Opel-sourced platforms. In its seven years of development from 1999, the car came to be Holden's largest and most expensive project with over 3.4 million kilometres of testing. Here in New Zealand, it consistently outsold rivals in the large car segment.
